My name is Marcello, and I am beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to share a little bit about my background with you. You see, my family has been in the restaurant business for generations, my grandparents owned one of the most stunning restaurants in Naples called “La Sirena”, so it’s safe to say that I grew up with a strong passion for every aspect of the culinary world. However, when I moved to America 18 years ago to pursue my other artistic passion, photography, I couldn’t help but notice a glaring absence of truly authentic Neapolitan pizza in this part of the world. I knew in my heart that something had to be done, which is when I became determined to change the game and bring San Diego a truly exceptional pizza experience. That meant importing the highest quality ingredients directly from Italy and crafting each and every pizza with genuine love and care. To me, pizza isn’t just a meal, it’s a cultural experience. It’s all about bringing people together to share a slice or two (or three!), and basking in the joy and happiness that good food can bring. It fills me with such pride to say that my pizza has quickly become known as one of the true gems of San Diego, and I credit that to my unwavering belief in using only the best, freshest ingredients and never, ever skimping on love and attention to detail.
